I live and shoot in the mountains of Western North Carolina. My father taught me a love of photography, which I have nurtured since I got my first SLR, a Pentax MX with a 50mm normal lens, for my 13th birthday. I learned to develop my own black and whites, shot for the high school yearbook, shot for the Ninety Six Star, shot for myself and friends. While I love the instant gratification and amazing control of digital photography, and wouldn't trade my Nikon D750 or my Canon G10, I hope to get back to the darkroom someday to watch that next image emerge in the silver bath.
