Sunrise At The Edge - Linville Gorge
The Linville Gorge runs north-south, so you don't see much of a sunrise or sunset when you're down in the gorge. The rails on the east and west rims of the gorge offer some nice sunrise/sunset views. This view is from the Chimneys area on Shortoff Mtn. Trail on the east rim, looking northeast.
